Gardens in pots, future in hands

Urban Gardening & Empowerment in Yangon

In one of Yangon's poorest neighborhoods, new paths are emerging – in old pots, bamboo beds, and with a great deal of hope. Our garden project shows women, families, and children how to grow healthy vegetables with the simplest of means – completely without chemicals, using locally available materials and traditional techniques.

Not only do the vegetables grow, but so does self-confidence. The small gardens become places of learning, encounters, and solidarity. Women discover their own strength, children experience the miracle of growth, and entire families gain new confidence.

What begins in old pots becomes a powerful symbol of dignity, self-help and community – and of a better future.

We believe that big dreams can grow from small pots. Together we create green living spaces – and unleash the power of action.
